Terms & conditions appliedPetmedin Tablet contains pimobendan (non-sympathomimetic, non-glycoside inotropic drug) which is indicated for the management of canine congestive heart failure originating from dilated cardiomyopathy or valvular insufficiency.

Pimobendan Ph. Eur -2.5 mg/5 mg/10 mg
Excipients q.s.
Protein Flavour & Palatable - Class: Cardiac Support/ pyridazinone / Cardiotonic
Indications/Uses
- For the management of the signs of mild, moderate, or sever congestive heart failure due to atrioventricular valvular insufficiency (AVVI) or dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM).
Directions for use:
- The dose rate of Pimobendan is 0.5mg/kg body weight.
- The dose should be 0.25mg/kg body weight twice daily, one half of the dose in the morning and the other half approximately 12 hours later. Each dose should be given on an empty stomach and atleast one hour before feeding.
